The Developer

David Pittman makes video games. Before co-founding Minor Key Games, he was a programmer at 2K Marin, where he wrote AI code on BioShock 2 and led the AI team on The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Frustrated by the excesses of AAA game development and feeling creatively stymied, David left the security of his job in March 2013 to make games he believes in. He holds a Master of Interactive Technology degree from The Guildhall at SMU.

David can be contacted at [email protected] and followed at @dphrygian.

The Studio

Minor Key Games was formed in 2013 by game industry veterans and twin brothers David Pittman and J. Kyle Pittman. The brothers have previously worked on a number of high profile AAA games: Borderlands, Borderlands 2, BioShock 2, and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Minor Key Games is based out of Plano, TX and Novato, CA.

What is a roguelike?

Roguelikes are a genre of role-playing games descended from the 1980 game Rogue. They typically feature randomly generated worlds, turn-based combat, and permanent player death. Eldritch's randomly generated worlds and permadeath are influenced by roguelikes.

What is an immersive sim?
